St Andrew's and St Bartholomew's

Bereavement Course – Jan’ 2020

Every bereavement is a painful time of loss. The funeral was a time to acknowledge your sense of grief and sorrow, but within us we continue to carry that sense of grief and sorrow caused by the love we had for the person who has died.

We hope that at the funeral you drew hope and encouragement as it spoke of the resurrection of Jesus and the reality of heaven and from it knew that the Lord gave you strength and comfort.

But perhaps over the months or years since your loved one died, whether it was your spouse, parent, relative or friend, you have experienced times of deep unrest and disquiet and do not fully understand the emotions you are experiencing.

If you would like the opportunity to explore your feelings and emotions further, we will be running a support group for those who have been bereaved.

The group will run from 1.30pm to 3pm over six weeks commencing Thursday 9th January 2020.

You will be a part of a small group, which will discuss specific issues related to grief and loss. This will hopefully help you cope with the situation you find yourself in.
